So, as I have mentioned before, I have been rock climbing for 3 years now.  Before I started HRT I was strength training, and building up a longer endurance for long climbs.  Anyway, that seems to have caused me to get a little veiny.  It's not terrible, and I feel like it has gone down, but I can't really tell (I stopped climbing a month before HRT to lose muscle mass and have lost 10 pounds in 5 months).

I guess my question is this - will the veins in my arms and hands become less noticeable with time from the hormones, or should I just get used to it?

As far as I know the veiny look will reduce when a layer of fat under the skin builds up.

One of the effects of estrogen its thinner and translucent skin. So veins might become worse.

Unless im wrong there.

Myself

skin gets thinner, veins get more visible.

if you don't work out much the veins will relax and get smaller.

metabolism slows down, veins get smaller and more relaxed.

don't worry :)

Well..... I have always had BIG veins and close to the surface in my arms in particular but in my legs too.
I have no doubt whatsoever that they are not as prominent and noticeable now after 10 months HRT - plus not exerting myself much for the last 6 years, but it was the HRT that made the difference for sure.
My arms are much slimmer and more feminine  8)
- on the downside, that makes my large hands look even bigger though  :'(

.... on the subject of skin:-
I used to epilate my arms without trouble, it just felt like pins-and-needles to me and I couldn't understand why people complained about it so much.
Despite the fact that my arm hair is now fine and downy though, in the last couple of months though it has been hurting - really hurting a lot, so much so that I cannot bear to do it any longer. :-\

- if I knew Secrets, and someone was doing that to me - I WOULD tell them

I started out with nothing..... and I still have most of it left.
