Came out to several

Over the last couple of weeks I have come out to a woman I work with, another woman in our department, one of my best friends, everyone at a bar I frequent and some online friends.  Everyone has taken it just great and tell me they understand and support it!

So things are good for me right now!!

I normally start out the conversation like this.

Hey, I have something personal to tell you.  Basically, the technical aspect is that I am lowering my testosterone and increasing my estrogen.    Then on with the story.

Seems to be working just fine for me.

That's wonderful, Dana.  I found that each subsequent person was easier to tell (with a few glitches here and there ). 

I'm glad for you that you are finally able to do this.  It makes life so much easier to share what has seemed like a burden with your friends, because then - gradually - it is no longer a burden.
