What transition means to me

I got tagged twice on Facebook, so I answered the question, "What does transition mean to me?" It didn't come easy! But now that it's done, and since my Facebook is fairly well protected, I figured I'd publish it here too.
Transition means that my life is fundamentally right for the first time. It's not that my previous life was so wrong. In many ways it wasn't. But the foundation wasn't right. Now it is. When the foundation isn't right and you don't know it, you spend your time trying to add to the structure only to have things fall down time and time again. But when the foundation is solid, you can reach for the sky.
