What seems like forever ago now I asked my GP for a referral to the Gender Clinic, they told me they would sort it out and I just had to wait for a phone call telling me when my appointment is.
Time passed, I got a letter saying that I was on the books, but they didn't know when I could come in yet...and just to wait. So I did.
More time passed, I got a phone call from the clinic saying they hadn't forgotten about me, but they were still all full...and just to wait. So I did.
I got a second phone call telling me the same thing...and then nothing for like a month. I still waited.
Now, I have a letter, saying the following:
"Our records show that you have not made an appointment with the clinic yet, this is a reminder to make your appointment should you still require one"
What? I was told I couldn't just call them and ask for one, I've been waiting around like an idiot for them to tell me when my appointment is. I'm confused; and bloody frustrated.
