Hey, first of all long time no post and stuff... I'm sorry. I get very socially... Burnt out. People can be corrosive sometimes to me.

What I was wondering is... I've been on HRT pretty much over a year now. Estradiol and Spiro, basically.

I have been paranoid for the last year about exercise because I don't want an excess of T levels released into my blood. My endo also INCREASED my spiro and doubled it because my bodys T levels had shot up a while back. I think this higher amount is better....

I've seen that exercise apparently releases E and T... What I'm curious about is how much for a transsexual on HRT. It would be great if I could regularly get my heart better and better and stay high on endorphins enough to not need so many psychological drugs. Also it releases growth hormone, which would make this puberty better.

So what are the levels and how do they affect me with exercise?

Oh here this is. I was going to respond to it when you posted it, but I went for dinner that night and spaced it off, I'm sorry!

Anyway I just got done monitoring this very thing, and I'm a little low on blood now! On weeks where I worked out daily, I had roughly 15 ng/dl more testosterone, higher free % and yet also strikingly more estradiol. The extra testosterone probably wasn't a huge deal, but it had been running a hair high anyway and I'm neurotic about it so I got the doc to bump up the spiro dose a hair and everything is fine now and holding steady. We only measured for a month, and the only comparisons are the quarterly labs prior to that, but there was clearly a trend.  Basically I think the answer is yes it raises it, but not enough that extra spiro can't knock it out. Your production capacity, after a year, is probably lower than mine too so you might be even luckier.

I hope it helps.

Hmm... My body is T freaky... Hopefully it wont shoot up too high. Thats what I really wanted to know. I wonder what MOST people get with it though... And if its similar to yours as well... Hmmm

i'll ask my endo, yeah. If anyone else has personal experiences of this, post away. Thank you Becca.

Hi.
.Your best to know what your t was before you went on h r t.     knowing that.   will give you an idear of where you should be . for us to answer that with out info . is to hard . to even quess
i know all my tests . from when i first started . 5 years ago . so i monerter my self
     2.     if you have been on say 2 years youll see the changes . not just t .   are you on other meds as that will effect you as well .
will you have s r s that too will change things . if you come off for a while that too . we dont all react the same so concider that . as well dont try & compare your self with others .
3 the type of meds will allso play a part .
Go back to your endo & get the copy.s  of all the tests.
it can take 3 years for some of us for me it.s 5 . so most of my changes have happened .   in 2  years i.m looking at every thing being setteled down .    its not a short term detail .
any way see how it goes
