Though the Eyes of a Ten Year Old
Corina

The following is a post that I'm crossposting from a new friend of mine who is reaching out to a precious ten year old girl by the name of Cammie. I was going to write something myself about my own recent experience with this family, but Corina does a vastly better job at putting this to words than I could.

Recently I met a mother of a young child going through transition. This child is 10 years old. A lovely young girl. yesterday was her first day at school as her self. The night before I lost sleep. I woke up at 3 am worried about her. Little did I know her mother was up at 2 am just as nervous.

She went through the day at school with out a problem. It was her ride home that was the problem. She would dash through the door and tear off her wig piece and throw it down and run to her room. She was upset. This I would learn from her mother later.
