Hi.  I don't usually post here but I can't think of who else to ask advice from right now.  I just noticed that an online shopping website I use has this message if you try to view the adult sections:

WARNING/DISCLAIMER

You are about to be redirected to Xstreet SL Uncensored.
The adult content within this site is intended for ADULTS ONLY (18 years of age or older). If you are not of legal age or do not wish to view materials of a sexually-explicit nature or you are offended by transgender images or topics, then please click CANCEL now. If you continue on to view any adult content within this website, you are stating the following:

1. I am an adult over the age of 18 years.

2. I will not allow anyone under the legal age, stated in 1. above, to access any of materials labelled Mature.

3. I am viewing mature content of this site willingly and I understand that by doing so I will be exposed to materials of a sexually-explicit nature.

I am the type of person who twitches when I see words being used incorrectly.  I want to make a post on this website's forum asking exactly how "transgender images or topics" are 18+?  But I feel like no one there would back me up or see it as an issue the way I do.  I feel like I am being nitpicky, but isn't this blatant discrimination?

Is anyone here nitpicky about words being used incorrectly like this?  And what do you do about it?  Should I complain about it?

Its just legal CYA (cover you butt) so that people can't sue or bring charges if their precious snowflake somehow dials up that site.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Assuming that it has no prurient/obscene images or discussion, my suggestion is that you write to the site owner and suggest that s/he do the complaining.

When I owned TSVETS, Yahoo would move it to the ADULT area about twice a year.  They'd move it back to open viewing within days of my complaining.

I just logged out of SL today...a frind of mine sent this to me also.  There is a JARA topic started about this.  Sorry I don't have the link handy.

The Jira was resolved and they changed the message.  Someone complained about it before I had the chance to.  I was very happily surprised.
