Oh, and T converting to estrogen is also called aromatization. I've not heard estrifying before, but aromatization is a term applied to any chemical reaction where hydrocarbons are converted (either aromatic to non-aromatic or the other way around, I forget). The enzyme involved is aromatase.

I may very well have made that word up.  I do that sometimes, in the tradition of Shakespeare, Marlow, Johnson, Joyce ...
