While watching MSNBC's Countdown Keith Olbermann made me aware of a milestone birthday occurring for a woman that happened to be his ophthalmologist.

Dr. Renee Richards turned 75 today.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Richards.  She was the second Transwoman I ever read about.  One of the women I look up to.

It was her story that gave me a name for all the pent up frustrations of my young life.. and told me I was not alone.
