Strange requests - Hair

I'm thinking that for my next Hair cut I'll be making an Unusual Request and since most hair dresses do what they want rather then what you ask for when what I'll basicaly be wanting is a number 2 on beard and a girls style haircut I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what styles would look pretty with a beard my hair is currently shoulder length and I don't want to lose much length

Instead of asking for a "girls" hair cut i'd look thru magazines and find pics of hair styles that you like. If you are worried about outing yourself find pics of males, otherwise use whatever pic you can find, even if it's a girl sporting the style. A hair stylist can easily work from a pic, whereas verbal communication might result in a bad cut since she has to interpret what you are asking for.

Also, a good hair stylist can help steer you toward styles that work best with your facial features and hair texture, and away from styles that don't work well.

A bob hairstyle of course is one of the most common shoulder length cut.

Yeah, if you don't bring pictures, the hairdresser will lean your hairstyle more to the side of "gender-appropriate" because they're used to clients freaking out about their too-feminine/masculine hairstyles.  My last haircut ended up longer than I had wanted it because of this, but I like my haircut, so it worked out fine for me, luckily.

A bob is a really popular style and looks good on many people. Have a look online for bob hair cut pics. Clip it back, tie it into little pig tails.. you can do a bit with them. If you are brave get a fringe. That would look quite striking!



As for the beard, I did not think hairdressers trimmed them? Maybe a barber would do it. You could do that yourself and save money (a comb and sissors seems to work the best if you don't have clippers).
