Quote from: Sheva on August 30, 2009, 04:36:59 AMIt's funny not in the fact that the article is funny but the simple fact that half of that stuff is bull! :]

Which half did you think was bull?

The same thought came to my mind  >:-) You and I should write one about that

The thing is that we would have so many examples to choose from!  Where to begin, where to begin...

Like the index finger is shorten then the ring finger...But like I said it's bull. Cause I have female hands. But overall it's true. But most of it is bull.

Of course you do, you are female right?
If you are female, it stands to reason you have
female hands and female feet and female legs and....

Well not biologically but yes...But for some reason even as a "biological male", I naturally have feminine hands and feet. My shoe size in girls is 7-8 and I can wear small gloves! =]

But for the not so lucky, the "biologically males" who are transgendered end up with manly hands and feet and it gives them away! =[

That's why I said it was funny...Because some of it is bull but it's also true because there is people who are not so lucky!

I didn't think it was all that funny... I hate the idea of being "marked" and then having everyone run away from me.

As I reacall your'e on the young side and pre hrt? You'd better quit horsing around and at least round up some testosterone blockers or your pretty little frame is most likely gonna get it's ass kicked into manhood in short order.

puberty already ended when I was like 14. Just puberty didn't hit me hard! I don't eat meat which has male hormones and I eat a lot of foods like fruit and veggies and water. So naturally with the foods and the way I took care of myself, puberty didn't go crazy on me! I guess i've had a good case with puberty! Though I am really tall---But my mom and my grandma were also, so that's genetic...

What I found the "bull" to be, was though disguised as comedy,
the individual who posted the "tips" felt he was performing a public
service. In stead of "judging someone by the content of their character"
which is the least we should be able to expect from our fellow citizens,
these "tips" are the basis of harassment and discrimination.
It's not the running from me part that's troubling.

Not a bit frightened to point out the efelant in the livingroom, are we Sweety?

I must agree, unless you are the wonderchild that we have been waiting for,
don't kid yourself, sweety. Your body has only just begun to develop as an
adult. Your body will go through changes throughout your entire life. Unless
you are intersexual or have some other hormonal abnormality,
testosterone will have it's way with you.

I find it so sad that this guy has to so pick apart the transgendered population.  It stinks of transphobia.  Who would go through such an effort to write something like this?

Funny?  The only thing I can think of that would be funny would be to stand next to him and breathe and watch him shake in fear that he will catch the T-virus.

You have been diagnosed by an actual diploma wielding [person]
of medicine as having some sort of hormonal abnormality?

Sometimes the "manly" body comes a lot later than puberty. When I was 20 I weighed about 140 lbs, had a slender build (I wore size 27 jeans in the waist), and would have made an excellent candidate for HRT.

By the time I had reached 28 my body had filled out a lot. I had put on another 40-50 lbs (no, I was not fat) and wore size 33 jeans in the waist. That is the same size I am today.

My mom said that my dad had the same growth spurt thing happen to him around 28 also.

I didn't mean to be as hurtful as it came out sounding, this entire thread just has my panties in a knot. I'm sorry.

Michelle.

According to this article women are more flexible than men, therefore being flexible must also be "girlie."

I'd love/pay to be the fly on the wall while the author explains his "flexibility=gayness theory" to the annual meeting of NHL goalies. >:-)

I found it difficult to find the "Funny". Luckily, it is a posting from someone
who probably passes gas because they think its funny to cause someone else
discomfort. Unlike a website I read about a short time ago, where I imagine these
pointers would be posted, if the site hadn't been taken down. It was a site that
advocated people posting the picture and any other information, location and
such, of "->-bleeped-<-s" they may have encountered. There was nothing
funny about this site and the intent was quite malicious.

And people have wondered why I didn't appreciate them (in real life) talking about me with complete strangers. Or why I don't use a real photograph as avatar here.

Actually that's an interesting one, there's some evidence that in general transwomen have finger lengths resembling biowomen rather thanbiomen, i think the most recent study was by K Zucker if anyone wats to pubmed it... don't know which way the result went on it though. So maybe that tip will only pick out the drag queens?

the fingers either side of my index finger are identicle... maybe i'm a hermaphrodite...

I guess the butt-hole who wrote this didn't bother to study the differences between drag-queens, transvestites, transsexuals, genetic women and genetic males beyond just bold faced generalizations. Utter BS.

But then, it is fitting for that whole f*&^kin site. How many actually took the time to look at the content? The whole site is devoted to the sexist, immature, insecure male trash. Most of the site is dedicated to degrading women, gays, metro-sexuals, educated and sophisticated men and seemingly anyone else who actually grew up and learned a thing or two about the world that we live in. (I will say that I was surprised I didn't see anything in the first few pages that was blatantly racist).  >:(
