Ciao you both! :) Hey tell me, do you know if injectable estrogens are readily available in pharmacies of Italy? Injectable Estradiol Valerate (Progynon/Delestrogen) and also Spironolactone under brand name Aldactone. Are these 2 available in the pharmacies?

What are the common hormones/anti-androgen that mtf use Italy? Can you please tell me?

Saro in Milano e voglio incontrare nuovi amici mtf. Puoi dare mi per favore il tuo numero di telefono o e-mail in privato. Se non puoi, di me lo per favore ti daro i mio dettagli in privato.

Your'e Italian? With the way you used to talk about "My Country" I had you pegged for central africa somewhere.

Italy is on my to-do list, do you have any recommendations?

What's your problem? What did I say wrong on Italy?

I have a lot of problems, which one would you like to discuss?

I was referring to Italy though, in our past discussions it hasn't sounded like a very friendly place and for some reason I thought of central africa. It just goes to show the ethnocentricity of us Americans, when you said endocronologists and dutasteride don't exist there I immediately thought of a third world nation...when in fact there are no trans friendly endocronologists in Idaho either, and the only "legal" dutasteride is grossly overpriced at the pharmacy.

Any-hoo...what is there to do in Italy?

WOW! You have a good memory. I speak italian but am not italian, I am going to Italy a while for vacations, so I was just wondering whether those hormones were available in the pharmacies as it is what I take.

Hi, and sorry for the delay. :)

Tablets (Estrofem, Progynova) and gel (Estraderm) are most commonly used. I know Aldactone is available as tablets. I suppose there are injectables too, but usually gel is used when you want to avoid strain on the liver. Unfortunely I'm unaware of the availability of injectable estrogens since I don't know anyone using them. Progesterone is available in both tablets and injectables.

Here the most common anti-androgen is Androcur (I suppose it's the same for the rest of Europe).

Please note that all these medicines are only available through prescription.

Unfortunely I'm quite far from Milano. :)
