I've noticed since I take hormones my body hair have slowed down the speed they grow however the hair on my head are growing faster.

For the body this is confirmed it is the hormones, but for the hair growing on head is it the hormones or just my imagination?

PS: In some people hormones stop the body hair growth completely but why it doesn't stop the hair on head also, can someone explain please?

Testosterone fuels body and facial hair growth.  And, for some, cuts off the fuel for scalp hair growth.  Eliminate testosterone and you eliminate the effect, unless beard hair has already sprouted.  Then it's off to the electrologist.

I have been blocking T for about 3 months and on estrogen for about a month and a half. It 'seems' that my hair started growing a little faster.  One other thing I noticed was growing brand new hair all over my head.  I have always had a full head of hair but now have even more. Some is growing on the widow's peak as well.  w00t

I can confirm this in my experience- thicker, with new growth, and it appears to grow faster and is getting longer as well. This may well be however because the individual hairs are not now nearly as prone to falling out. The ultimate length to which anyones hair grows is a function of how fast and how often old hairs fall out/break off and new ones grow in to take their place. Dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is the natural metabolite of the human body that is the main reason for hair loss. So, cut down your testosterone and you cut down on this form of it produced by the body that causes hair to fall out.
