The sudden change of tone in Dr Alice Dreger's writing has left me a little taken back. And since I placed a link to her article on sex testing in athletics, people have asked "Didn't she invent the DSD terminology" and "Didn't she lead the defense of a book that hurt a lot of transsexual people".
