Anyone know of an gender equality advocacy groups that are not only concerned with the equality of women?  I recognize totally that women have the short end of the stick, but there are problems for both sexes.  I hate the gender-specific socialization we give to our children and enforce upon our peers.  I want to be a part of ending it, or at least severely diminishing its influence.  I would like to align myself with a group working toward the same ends.  Anyone know of anything?

BTW, this doesn't need to be a trans or gay specific/friendly group, just a group who advocates equality for both sexes that operates in the US.
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

Hmm, all the ones I can find are either in Europe, or female-based...  ???

This is a website I found for men's rights, if you truly could not find any: http://mensnewsdaily.com/

But yeah, that's really wierd that they actually are really rare and hard to find! Maybe you could start one up yourself? Change the world!  ;D
