In my head I'm a guy, and as happy as can be
but when I look in the mirror, it's a girl that I see.

Inside I'm colorful, flamboyant and gay
Outside, my body just gets in the way.

Yet sometimes I'm fine and feel good in my skin
The pain always comes back and I hold it within.

What I wouldn't do to be seen how I feel
There's only so much a smile can conceal.
