I just finished Star Trek TNG Season 7 on blu-ray. Tonight I'm going to watch the extra features that come on the stand alone disc for all good things. I can now say I have 14/28 (50%) of Star Trek's seasons on blu-ray and that I have watched every episode of Star Trek TNG on blu-ray. And yes it really does make a difference. CBS went back to the original film dailies to re-edit every episode in HD. It looks amazing. Most episodes still use the original model shots in HD and the ones that don't, the CGI is decent early on and excellent later on and they tried their best to make it look like the original shot.
