Interview with Drag Star Jackie Beat

Los Angeles-based drag star Jackie Beat, whose band Dirty Sanchez will be performing aboard the S.S. ->-bleeped-<-shack next weekend prior to Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, is nothing if not a comedienne. Her recent corn syrup spoof commercials made us laff and laff, and we can't wait to see her heckle and spar with SF drag impresario Heklina on this drunken boat cruise around the Bay.

Below, an interview we did with Jackie about her beginnings in drag and how LA audiences differ from SF audiences.
