A BOY aged 12 turned up at school as a GIRL - after changing sex during the summer holidays.

Teachers called an emergency assembly to order fellow pupils to treat him as female.

The lad, whose parents have changed his name to a girl's by deed poll, arrived in a dress with long hair in ribboned pigtails. He is preparing for sex-swap surgery.

MtF will face the same problems, the attitude of the people around them, FtM on the other hand is less of a problem since there more chance of a woman wearing male type clothing then males wearing female type clothing.

If a male wears woman's clothes people think he's gay, if a female wears male clothes people don't think she's a lesbian.

British students got a sudden lesson in gender identity after a 12-year-old boy returned to school as a girl after summer vacation.

According to The Sun newspaper, the child, who has officially changed his name to a girl's and plans to undergo a sex change operation, arrived on the first day of school wearing a dress and pigtails.

Well I think the parents are very brave, I wasn't much older when I came out all them years ago.
I was 16years old at the time, but only very gradual, I was ''boy mode'' during the week, then most weekends I would dress as female, but then when I was 18 and lost contact with most of my school ''friends'' I went fulltime. Over 12years till my transition was complete, I more or less got to know different people who never knew my past and only knew me as a girl, never as a guy.
What them parents did, well very quickly must have been a shock to everybody, I don't think Id be brave enough to do it that way.
But everybodys situation is different.
