am feel myself slipping back into a deep depression over the last few weeks i have been having doubts about transitioning but i will not be able to live a full and happy life if i don't i am having problems letting go of my old life because of the ridicule i will get from the people who know me as a man i am 6.7" tall and know i will never be able to pass and live 100% female because of the way i look. woman's clothing and shoes are nearly impossible to find in sizes that fit without me looking silly. I have known i was a girl ever since i knew the difference between boys and girls and because i was brought up as i boy i am feel trapped trying to to let my inner self out

Try not to feel so bad. My last roommate is 6'10", She is also a ts like you and I. I am 6'3". About the ridicule you may or may not get any. But dont let what ifs get in the way of transitioning if thats what you really need to do. Its much better than the alternative.

Chin up. Plenty of people think tall women are attractive. When I see a tall girl I don't think they are a man, I just think there is a tall woman. They also have stores specifically for extra tall women. You would probably have to order online but they exist.
There also happens to be a female model that is 6'9". So there is hope for you yet.

on my end I am 5' 4". I make a little guy on the height spectrum but I don't mind so much. I also have a very feminine face and the hips of death... not to mention a noticeable breast size that is just a hassle. Overall my body is the epitome of female right now but I try not to let it get me down. Even though people have told me to my face they don't think im 'butch' enough to transition (which is uneducated comment anyways) i try to keep in mind who knows me best. Me.
I may not be the guy shouting at the games or flexing my muscles, but that's just not me. I'm the mild mannered dork behind the computer but that doesn't make me less of a man.
Overall, I try to keep my eye on the goal. I am walking towards what I want and what will make me happy.
Whatever makes you happy. I think that's what you should do.

Hi Banshee

...I'm not sure what size you were looking for, but most larger "Evans" stores in the UK stock larger/taller clothes and wide-fit shoes to suit a male size 10 . There is an Evans in the high street of most towns, and I have seen a lot of good reports on them helping trans clients. :icon_wink:

If you need larger shoes, then the TV shops are usually gong to be the lower cost option ie: Transformation, Doreen's, Fantasy Girl, and they all have UK websites. :icon_wink:

I would advise care with ordering shoes on the internet, as physical fit can vary a lot for a given size. I'm "lucky" as I have narrow feet, so womens shoes fit me better than mens! ::)

As I am also a taller girl based in the UK I may be able to offer you some "local" advice and links. You need to make a few more posts to make it to 15, then you will be able to use the personal message system, post pics...etc

Chin up honey!.. :icon_flower:

I'm quite tall too, 6.1 fts. In Belgiun, it's nor easy to find W12 size shoes,  I've found some nice one, my last are really nice boots. I don't buy high heels, but just just small one.
I wear dresses, skirts or throusers, specialy trousers and I have a real good passing.
If you look around you, you will see a lot of tall women, so you will be, just, one of them.

have a look :

Hi Banshee,

As there are a lot of Evans stores in the UK, it is still worth being a little cautious. I googled for some feedback on my local stores, and found the Reading (Berks) one had some good reports, but staff can change.... Not that I have had a problem in any of them...

You can do this iam worried about letting go of my past because i didnt think i would pass and it cost me a lot of wasted years heres what i came up with
1. the inevitable will happen all we do is delay it with fears and doubts
2. you will have friends even if its only on here but once they get past your appearence im sure you will find friends in your home area too. its hard not to like a likable person just cause they dont look like what you think they should
3. there is always someone who will want a personal relationship with someone else simply because of the diversity nature offers you will fall into someones preferance catagory regardless of passability or not and look at some of the work that has been done to the girls/guys on this site if your honest the ones that doubt their ability to pass easily would pass its their own self confidence that makes them think they cant.

Hi Banshee

Hope you are feeling better. I realise it must be hard but there are big GG out there as well. Lots of Basketball, netball girls are tall, and look very feminine when the paint and curlers come out . Not being rude just having a laugh :-*. Try not to worry about what you don't have, live life for what you do have. There is nothing more sexy than a tall girl walking down the street, confident, smiling, happy. In high heels or low, boots or flats, Mini or trousers, or shorts. God she got legs that go all the way up to >:-); the guys will just ache for you. Confidence honey, confidence.

Hugs

Listen girl, there's not only you but we ALL got ridiculed here no matter what passing or not (In fact very few among us passes 100%, say like 5-10%). Look at my pic in my avatar, that was years back when my face looked feminine, now I got mandibular jaws, double adams apple, deep voice but still I have decided to live my life as female. It's not for the sake of passing but just to have the pleasure to live life everyday as female, wearing make up, high heels, mini skirts, etc... No matter how tall you are or how big are your feet, if you successfully change your face with FFS, you'll pass + hormones will drop off all your bulky muscles.
