Justin and I went out for lunch today and the hostess, when seating us, said "Two gentlemen?  This way please."  And she she sirred me 3 more times during our meal.  And then asked whether it was one check or two.

I've passed before but never so emphatically.  It was awesome.  I didn't even do anything on purpose and wasn't thinking at all about whether I was passing or not until she "gentleman"ed me.  Effin sweet.

Congrats.  That's wonderful.  Not to be offensive or anything, but I thought you looked very feminine in your "before" picture and I don't believe you're even on T, so that's amazing.  Congratulations again. :D

I was amazed she still sirred me after hearing my voice, too.  After she had called me a gentleman I did try to speak in a low voice though.  So I guess that's not so amazing.  Maybe it's my neck, it's gotten a little thicker since I've been working out.  I dunno.

Still made my day.

Way to go Mikko! That's fantastic!

You and MEW make me SO jealous... here I am, doubting HRT would do much, emailing FFS surgeons for SOME hope to someday pass... and you two pretty much just set your minds on who you are and just go DO it, lol...

It's nice to see :)

You were relaxed and just let the real you shine through.  :)

I have been called Miss or Ma'am on days I was wearing jeans, a leather vest, a kick butt Australian Duster (with the cape and it makes my shoulders look HUGE), hiking boots, and about a week's worth of hair on my face (which I will admit is still not that much hair).  It happened when I was relaxed.  People just pick up on it.

Probably because you're trying too hard Kate.  The thing that made the single biggest difference in my appearance is my hair.  I believe it was the same for Mikko (or William or whatever).  Let your hair grow out before you consider FFS.  If you don't think your face looks feminine, go to your local crossdresser support group.  You will see a mix of feminine and masculine faces and hopefully that will help you realize yours is feminine.  I used to think I would need tons of FFS before I ever passed. ::)

That's great Mikko!
The only time I pass is from a distance. That happens frequently, but then they get close and realize "Oh, I thought that was a guy standing there."
Wish I could pass, but without T, I don't think so.

Ah, you know, I slicked my hair back with a ton of mousse yesterday and we went for food before I took a shower or anything, and my hair must still have been out of my face.  I think it actually probably *was* the fact that I had no bangs over my forehead that made the difference, bangs are feminizing.  Maybe looking unkempt helped too :)
