Ugh... mornings...

So I am in the process of switching from injections to pills because I was unable to give myself the shots without bawling hysterically at the thought of pinning myself with a needle. >.>  So it's been a month without estrogen while I wait for the premarin to come and I've been having morning wood every morning it seems like.  The problem is, it's painful!  Is it because I was on hormones for a year and now I'm suddenly springing up?  Does anyone else get painful erections or any other side effects there when going off hormones?

I totally know where your coming form sister! I just got back on hormones after being off of them for a month and a half. I was on them for 13 months prior.

I too started getting morning erections. At first they weren't too bad but the more frequently they happened the more uncomfortable they became. after the third week I started feeling genuine pain in the scrotal area.

I've been back on them for 3 weeks now and the discomfort has subsided.

Just curious, but what's up w/the wait for prem? You can buy black cohash in the vitamin isle to take the edge off. Are you on Spiro?

Yes, I'm on spiro, but I'm feeling really anxious not being on estrogen.  Thank God I get it tomorrow!
