A transsexual convicted last month of harassing his former spouse through e-mail was sent to jail for a day yesterday.

Wilson had sent his former partner, Deanna Brown, an electronic message that was a story about a woman who resembled her. The woman is tied to a bed and threatened with a knife.

Wilson contended it was only half the story and it would end with the woman being spanked by her lover. His former partner admitted in her testimony she liked to read stories about spanking.

Brown was so frightened, she moved with her children into a women's shelter.
