From reading these prison threads you'd think transsexuals were the most crime prone lot in the world. I'm 34 and I just got my first ticket ever last year, and it wasn't even a moving violation. What are we doing to be so concerned about which jail we are put in...hm...Shelina...how about...prostitution?

LOL! Here is a common point with us. In my country it's illegal too but the police are very lenient to us here. What is strange is that the police stop the 'kerb crawlers' (clients moving slow with cars to find prostitutes) and not the prostitutes themselves. They are informally allowed to exerce as in the parliament, they said it's better to have them than amount of rape soaring but they haven't made it officially legal yet.

Yeah, no kidding!  But I'd imagine that they will let you bring your dilators with you.  (I hope).  The other day I was watching the TLC channel, and they had a show about pre-op girls who were serving sentences in male prisons.  Some of them were very pretty, perfect voice, breasts, nice complexion and everything else.  They didn't mention it on the program, but I wonder if these girls are confined to a special place, away from all the other inmates.

I know.  Off topic.  Sorry Shelina!

Depends if your in a maximum security building because of the fact they don't give you anything plastic for longer then 10 minutes, wether or not your finished your food. or what not.

The BC in GB could be changed after Gender recognition act of 2004. And before that POST-op girls usually served in female prisons. And in the USA I do not honestly think any prison putting POST-op MTF to general male population. However PRE-op girl could be put and is usually put to general male population.

Also In Canada a pre-op girl would go to male and post-op to female prison.

And the op means here SRS/GRS/vaginoplasty. You will go with males despite of BA, FFS or orchi.

About what country you are talking about Shelina?
Putting a POST-op MTF to male prison. I would consider that as a human right violation.

Of course you could, but why would you want that, that's a really odd question to ask.

Isn't that the poster's motto?
"If you want to criticize my methods, fine. But you can keep your snide remarks to yourself, and while you're at it, stop criticizing my methods!"

I can remember this topic coming up 40 years ago when I was pre-op myself and there was no 'legal guidelines'.

Generally speaking, Canada is a compassionate country and an effeminate male would NOT be put in general population but in segregation. Police and prison guards are not (usually) sadistic and they know damned well what would happen to such a person in general population in a male prison!

As a teen without legal protection, the prospect of being incarcerated for ANYTHING was terrifying! Being thrown in a cell with male offenders? Well just shoot me where I stand!

Answering the OP. Why would you spend $30,000 for a virgina and
intentionally allow it to heal closed? If you are even thinking about it,
why put yourself through the pain and suffering of such an invasive
procedure? Why not just get an orchi or I'm sure you could find some
doctor that could do it the old fashion way and just remove your
genitals. If you don't plan on ever getting intimate with someone
else what does it matter what your crotch looks like?

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

I was generally writing that part about the USA. A PRE-op transgirl must prove that she is in danger to apply for protective custody (Farmer vs. Brennan). So she must have troubles in general population before she can request seg. In Canada that might very well be diffent.

I think that the pre-op woman that went in when Northern Jane was pre-op (40 years ago) is still in male prison somewhere in Canada.

I just read about  her. She is now 61 and in male prison.

She went to a juvenile institution first time while she was 11. There is a book about her.
