DADE CITY — A 44-year-old man dressed in a black tank top and blue denim skirt was arrested Sunday morning after he tried to run from an officer, says a report from the Dade City Police Department.

According to the report, a patrol car making a U-turn about 4 a.m. near 12340 U.S. 301 spotted what appeared to be a woman standing behind an abandoned business. The officer shined his spotlight toward the back of the business, and the person took off running into some woods.

This is really sad.  Here is somebody down to his/her last dime, sleeping in the woods; who still is compelled to cross-dress, or so desperate as to be trying to hook, or addicted to having sex with strangers while dressed as a woman, or just a confused transwoman.  And the ending is haunting.  The person "asked" that his/her female clothing and purse be "destroyed."
It's easier to change your sex and gender in Iran, than it is in the United States.  Way easier.

Please read my novel, Dragonfly and the Pack of Three, available on Amazon - and encourage your local library to buy it too! We need realistic portrayals of trans people in literature, for all our sakes
