Skinny trousers for men are everywhere. But how many will take the trend for figure-hugging legwear one step beyond, and wear tights? We road-test the look.

But the short skirts, skimpy tops and leggings by fashion brand Unconditional are not designed for the feminine frame, but for men. Unsurprisingly, the leggings are jokingly referred to as "mantyhose", despite bearing little similarity to pantyhose.

You have GOT to be kidding me!

I wore man-t-hose many many years ago as a coping skill, but they were under my pants.  Also they were stocking weight, not legging type so they didn't bunch.

Even now I wouldn't wear something like that simply because it is so baggy!

Bikers, that's right; Big bad mighty manly tough bikers wear pantyhose, when it's cold and the freezing out bikers wear this for it's properties of keeping the body warm.

Motorcyclists wear pantyhose for layering, for warmth.

Hunters wear pantyhose because they stop ticks.

As for Mantyhose, those look like a continuation of the style in Britain back when John Lennon was young, they'd wear these skinny pants called "drainpipes" or "drainies" Lennon did drawings of himself wearing them.

When I was a young teenager, they wore "stovepipes" in the UK & Australia, males I mean of the heterosexual variety. Gays did also.
