Hi Miniar
Great news, there are going to be some happy people at Christmas from some of the threads

As for THE Psychologist; I think it's in 101 of psychologists; develop very strange mannerisms, that way your patient doesn't feel odd. Must be true; I've never met a sane one.

I wonder what psychologist class is like? "Now everyone, Hug your knee; and one and two and three. Keep hugging Gustav, put more effort in now"

Hugs, Knees and all

BTW, as others have said, love your new pic, reminds me of  Neil Young, and no Finewine not Neil Young on the dunny.

Right on Dude, congrats on your progress.

As for the psych. and his odd behavior, I've seen worse. There was this one who kept grabbing his something something. He lost his licence for some reason.

Possibly the person you visited actually has a pet that he strokes while thinking things over when he gets home

My E and Spiro are supposed to be in within the week  :icon_chick:

Thanks ^^

(it's the day after and I still feel like a happy-bouncy-thing in reaction.. suppose that'll wear off when I see the needle..)

Freakin' cool Miniar!

You're gonna make a GREAT guy! I mean you already are, but you are gonna be one chick magnet!

As for the therapist patting his leg thing, when you're more male you'll understand.

As long as he doesn't start feeding it treats, everything should be OK.

Wow, Miniar, that is wonderful!  Even without the actual T, this is great validation.

(Miniar strolls around the house, buttons popping off his shirt: See, I'm not crazy after all. ;))

Terrific news! ;D

Congrats Min, that's totally awesome! ;D

All of these "I'm getting T" threads are bittersweet for me. I'm so happy for all of you dudes who are finally moving forward after feeling stuck, but on the other hand, I'm beyond jealous too.

Jealousy aside though, I am really glad that the process was less troublesome than expected. :)

Getting on T is so random, that I'd not lose hope. If it were not a very random, capricious process, I'd never have gotten it. Yes there are gatekeepers, but there are so many different gatekeepers, that you can just keep following up on rumors etc and get through.

Congrats mate!  It seems like it's been such a process for you to get T, you must be stoked now.  Awesome news  :)

James, I know exactly what you mean. Just a couple weeks ago I would be "happy for" people that were finally getting their hormones and then turning away from the screen and whining to myself about not getting them yet myself.
^^

And yes.. it's been a process, it's been a bleeding struggle to even find out where to start the process... and yes I'm stoked..
I'm still bouncing around like a ditz.

Congratulations!  Now you're going to be agonizing about getting the actual T instead of the okay... except it won't be as frustrating.

Note to self: Develop weird mannerisms in the future.  Needed for career.

It's hard to imagine you acting like a ditz.

That might be true if it were only the medical community holding back my transition, but that's not the case. My kids are going through a lot right now (and have been going through a lot for the past few years) and so it wouldn't be fair for me to put them through more right now. I'd rather wait until they're ready to deal with all of this then to selfishly put my needs first, but at the same time, it sometimes makes me feel stuck, and therefore jealous of people who are moving forward. Not that I begrudge any of you for your success, as I said I'm really happy for the progress you guys get to make (and I mean that sincerely), but it's just bittersweet is all. No worries though, I know I'll get to transition someday and then it'll be me doing the happy dance like a ditz. Lol ;D

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. Besides, someday it'll be my turn and then I'm sure there are others who will feel "happy but jealous" for me too. Lol

go before you and others who will come after.

Terrific news, Min. I'm stoked for you. And jealous...of your height. I'm only five foot six. And a half, LOL.
