Since 2002 I had an oily scalp with dandruffs and it also exuded a pingent smell and I needed to wash my hair EVERYDAY but ever since I started taking anti-androgens + estrogens, my scalp is no more oily, ALL DANDRUFFS ARE GONE & no more that smell. PS: Also my back was oily and there was a flare of acnes for years but now it's no more oily and all acnes have vanished.

Those who had dandruffs, did you notice they're gone since you started HRT?

You know what you're totally right...I used to have dandruff and a severely itchy scalp and it's gone since HRT. All the other stuff too of course, that's more commonly said, oily skin ughhhhh it sucked. I had such bad acne everywhere, especially after shaving.

I agree, I had really bad dandruff (hereditary if you can believe it - or so my dermatologist says).  I think it was more of a dermatitis to skin care products, as I am pretty sensitive.

Now though, I have zero dandruff.  My scalp only itches a little, and at random times as the sensitivity from FFS returns.

holy crap, I hadn't even noticed. However, it is important to mention that dandruff control is not a valid reason to transition.  :icon_wink:
