Can someone give me some pointers of how to decrease my breast size? or is it really possible to do it? I know eventually I will have to get my breasts surgically removed but for now I would like to somehow reduce them naturally.

Has anyone tried strengthening your pectoral muscles with any success?

strengthening pecs may even make them more prominent....

you can "decrease" the size some by causing atrophy by binding and starting T.

Run. Put in some miles, I suggest working on performance in 5Ks since that's a good distance to train for, doesn't take up too much time like training for marathons, and not as specialized as running the mile or sprints which are more dependent on large, fast-twitch preponderant muscles ect anyay....

Running just hones the fat off. it's amazing. And since breasts are mostly fat, it hones those suckers right down too, I can speak from personal experience.

Word from the wise:  Make sure your T levels aren't too high when you start/if you've started.  It can cause T to aromatize into E, which caused my breasts to grow.  I was a candidate for peri and ALMOST had to have double incision.  Luckily they reassessed the situation again once I was in surgery, and were able to do what I wanted, but it was close.

I don't actually know how to decrease the size, I just figured you didn't want bigger ones. :)

Also, I don't want to freak you out.  Most people don't seem to have this problem.  The dose most doctors start you on is a good choice.  I seem to be special that way.

unfortunately, it doesnt do anything for the actual breast tissue.

No, it won't do that. I need to get my digital camera situation squared away because I have some pics of me when I was running a lot and had pretty low body fat, I still had moobs just smaller ones.

Mine right now are getting a bit more flat, and kinda more square? Maybe becoming a bit more pec-shaped because I do hit the weights.

yea guys, watch out.  your breasts could grow on T.  it could aromatize.  and make them grow.  on T.  you know aromatization.  (im only the 3rd person to say this right?)

The best way to decrease breast size is to start T.  I've lost at least a cup size since starting T

As for losing weight, that will work on some people, and others it won't; it all just depends on where you lose weight first

Mine only got bigger once I transitioned... but hmm, wonder if that had anything to do with the fact I was miserable and put on 70 lbs? I didn't notice that they either grew or shrank on T, but losing 50 lbs in the past 6 or 7 months has made them a decent bit flatter... now I just have to deal with the fact that, even though they're mostly just the breast tissue itself at this point, that's the hardest part to bind.

The only tip I have for you, then, is lose weight, if you're overweight or if your breasts are mostly fatty. You can't decrease the breast tissue itself without surgery, but you can minimize the filler, per se. Don't do pectoral exercises under any circumstances, as Josh mentioned... bulking up your pecs will only make your tits stick out further. Just cut back on high-calorie foods, eat more veggies, drink more water, and the rest will follow. Also, binding will help to not shrink, but flatten them... but it depends on your own body as to how much it will and how long it will take. I've been binding over 3 years now, but it's only been in the last 6 months or so that I've noticed them flattening. Hope this helps a bit.

I've heard that when you start T it usually makes them smaller.  my Dr mentioned you lose fat in that area and it breaks down breast tissue.  When I work out My chest size decreases a lot and im already really small.  I'm sure it is different with everyone though.

You know, my GP told me that when cis women go through menopause the actual breast tissue (not the fat) breaks down a fair amount. I wonder if T might also have a similar effect in some people, since technically it is a hormonally induced menopause.
copycat say what?  breast tissue breaks down because of the lack of estrogen to maintain it (and sometimes by binding).  breaking down is called atrophy.

and by the way during menopause, ciswomen stop producing testosterone too, so we are not in fact hormonally inducing menopause.

sure, you may have menopause-like symptoms, but it isnt "technically a hormone induced menopause" since we are overriding our ovaries with T and causing them to shut down, therefore, we are stopping/slowing the production of one hormone with a different hormone.

Umm... that's what menopause is. The shutting down/slowing down of the hormonal production of the ovaries, causing a cessation of menses. That's exactly what happens on T. The only difference is that ours is hormonally induced and can be reversed rather than happening naturally.
in menopause, there isnt an increase of testosterone.

Hate to get in the middle of a spat, boys, but check wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menopause

In the end, though, you're both right. Menopause is the cessation of ovary function; that's what T does. However, we end up with different hormone levels than postmenopausal women do. So... can we resolve the conflict?

BTW, I'm laughing over this. Not trying to be a jerk... but anyway. Multiple posts of the same info don't bug me. What ever happened to recognizing the value of consensus?

I know you're absolutely going to HATE this suggestion but ... gravity works. If you dont wear ANYTHING but a shirt for a few days your moobs "droop" and they're flatter. that makes actual binding a little easier. Wearing the binder DOES press on them but it also keeps them in a stable position which doesnt allow for gravity to pull them flatter. It's just a suggestion ... and I know it makes all you boys cringe but it could help. Maybe try it on a vacation week or something or do it when you're at home? I hate to think of the dysphoria this could cause.

I love you all! I'm sorry for the cringing!

Gravity doesn't work fast enough. Women who go braless probably don't sag until they've had their boobs for at the very least ten years.

Going to have to go with this. I don't wear a bra or a binder most of the time and nothing has really changed since I started going 'commando'.

at the same time, if you DO wear a binder but mash them down instead of in, it works like gravity... but faster. :)  plus, then youre wearing a binder instead of walking around for years with them wobbling around.
