The real Cindianna Jones is spending the week with me.  Here she lays at my feet snoring.  She is such a sweetie. It's unfortunate that I'll be out shopping for most of the day tomorrow.

Cindi

Awwww!  She is a lucky gal!  not all canines have last names....MY kitties only have nicknames besides their legal first names (listed on vet records, vaccine certificates, cat fancy magazine subscriptions, petshed website.. ;D)...give her a kiss from her auntie Tink...

Got Steph's quilt ready to go to be quilted (I'll include a picture next week when it's done)

Lost 2 lbs..... (no one say anthing about the cookies...) :D

I bought a PS2 at a store this last weekend and finally have Dance Dance Revolution running.  I had so much fun working out for a couple hours last night.  I can't wait to do it again today. :)

My Doctor is happy with my progress - I am slowly but surely becoming more happy with who I am. Hopfully that depression will not come back.

I think that I finally have all I need for our Thanksgiving dinner.  I love this holiday. I love preparing a big wonderful meal for other people.  Tomorrow, I'll be baking.  Yum.

Something wonderful and unexpected happened to me today.  I guess it is true what people say...while there is life, there is hope. ;)

Oh yes! There is always hope! There will be only one time in my life where I'll admit defeat.  And that will be my dying breath.

Cheer up! Chin up!   .... and like that.

A male coworker of mine emailed me some Thanksgiving jokes this morning.

He just came into my office and said, "It's odd... I sent those jokes to allllll the women in the office... and to you. I didn't send it to any of the men, but we just seem to have this special relationship, and it seemed wrong somehow to not include you too. Weird!"

God... *trying* to hide the tears that came welling up, and literally biting my tongue to not SAY anything to him, not yet, not before an formal coming out here at work.

That was beautiful, Kate. I'm happy for you.

My 'something wonderful for today' is going to sound egotistical, but it's not. I think it's more mental health oriented and it's very important. Anyway, here it is......

I remembered today that I am a good person. A lot of people truly like me and it's because I have something of value to offer as a human being. The wonderful part is that I can accept this of myself.

Love & peace,

Rebecca

I'm sitting here with a quiet moment and relishing it.  An apple pie is baking in the oven and the smell is wafting throughout the whole house.  Hubby will be here soon and my best friend will be dropping by to spend a couple of days tomorrow morning. I love the holidays.  Life is good.

I was treated like a lady at work today.  A guy who sits by me (and knew me before transitioning) offered to get me a drink.  He's always nice to me, but this made me feel really special.

A very good friend from the past showed up out of nowhere.  It takes something reaaaaaally special in order for me to change my smiley face to this =  ;D......life is good and so full of surprises.... :D

I just drive-by gifted someone.  I do that from time to time -- get on the internet and buy something to be shipped to an unsuspecting 'victim'.

I started it with my stepmother -- her birthday is December 25th, and gets totally overwhelmed by Christmas.  So, from time to time I send her stuff out of nowhere.  This year, I got her a granny-gown from Vermont Country store, like mine in my avatar picture (it's eerie to meet in the hallway at midnight, both on our way to the bathroom  ;D )

Other victims have received books, DVDs and CDs out of the blue...

Now, who's the next 'victim'?   :icon_evil_laugh:

I went to my in-laws today for Thanksgiving dinner in the old disguise and had a wonderful time and as the evening wore on I got more and more depressed over still having to hide and having my spouse shush me when I approached the subject with her sister.  I hated that she still wants to hold me back.

I came home and started to read the posts since my last visit and got more and more cheered up because I know that I am liked and acepted here and am a member of a family that knows the real me.  And that's the most wonderful thing today.

I love you guys and I hope you had a wonderful day, holiday or not!

We watched a movie after dinner this afternoon.  It was the new X Men release.  It must have been really boring because both my best friend and I fell asleep in the middle. When I woke up, hubby was watching the races and he had cleaned up the kitchen..... what a cutie pie!

It has been a lovely day.

Sounds a lot like my Thanksgiving last year.  I came out 3 days later because it was so bad. :P

This year I went to my best friend Desi's house and we had a wonderful meal.  Her dad and husband (who I sit next to at work) were there too.  I brought some pumpkin pie (which was delicious) and we talked a lot and afterwards, watched a movie downstairs.  Thanksgiving was much better this year than I had anticipated.

Okay kitties, I received an unexpected early christmas gift today in the mail.  The package did not have the name of the sender, only the name and address of the store where the item was purchased.  I looked and looked but couldn't find a name or any type of clue of who had sent it.

.....so I am going to ask one of you, for I know it was someone from these forums who sent it.

Karen, doll, I know you were the one!  I just know it! :)  Thank you sooooooo very much.  It is beautiful.  I love the color, the texture, all of it.  I appreciate your kindness.  You made my day sweetheart!  Thank you! :)
