I was hoping that maybe someone would have some ideas about making eyebrows appear thicker.

Mine are very fine. They are so thin and fine that from a distance they aren't even noticeable.

My wife suggested shaving them to make them grow thicker but there's almost nothing to shave.

  Does anyone have any ideas?

  Thank you in advance.

Shaving hair has no effect on growth or thickness.

Perhaps use an eyebrow pencil to colour in-between the hairs?

I have the same problem Tiffany...and to make it worse what eyebrow hair I do have are almost totally blonde so you can barely see the ones that are there.

As Kate said shaving will not have any effect on growth or thickness (just another old wives tale).

I tried pencils and shadows alone but found it very difficult to shape them so they looked natural and symetrical.  I did some research and found a stencil kit that has small plastic stencils in several sizes and shapes that you can put over your eyebrow and simply dust it with color (I actually use a light brown eye shadow) to make the perfect shape.  It takes a little practice to learn how to get them both exactly right but the instructions that came with mine were easy to understand and follow.  You can probably find the stencils in the beauty section of some stores (not sure I bought mine via the net).

I would post the link but I think it would be in violation of the rules so if you want to PM me I can give it to you.   :)

I think as long as it isn't a clickable link, you're fine.  Try leaving off the http:// and www. parts and it should be a non-clickable link.
