On the bus: EDGE follows marchers to Washington

Braxton spoke with EDGE about why he felt the march was important as the bus drove over the George Washington Bridge and onto the New Jersey Turnpike.
"It's all about numbers," Braxton said. "If there is a large showing, it will say to legislators and the president a lot of LGBTQ people are voting for you."
Four Carmen's Place clients were among the number of LGBT youth who were on the bus. A handful of straight allies also traveled with the Queens contingent.
