This article is by a well known Gay Rights Campaigner in the UK. Entitled "Disciplinary proceedings against a leading sex-change doctor bring shame to the medical profession" - which appeared in the Guardian newspaper.

The link also has the letters received in response to the article from all corners of society and provides an insight into both views of pro and anti support for Gender Reassignment.

It sounds to me like this doctor is getting very good at what he does.  Hey, let's face it.  The symptoms of dysphoria are fairly easy to diagnose.  He's not really cutting the process much... by a couple or three months at the most.  His patients still have to live full time for a year. That's the tough one.  I hope that he comes out okay on this. 

In any case, this is good press.  And we need all that can be published.
