I have been getting a slight breast growth from taking my propecia and I thought it would be fun to go buy a training bra. Took a bit to find one that did not look to little girly.

Wow, what an excellent idea! - I got a double A Tshirt bra, so it is mostly padding, and I seem to be big enough to fit it. It just felt so much more natural than padding out a bigger bra and gave me the appearance of having some very small but perfectly natural looking breasts. Don't know why I am so excited about it. They are barely there at all but it is kind of like they are all me baby haha! (well, most of it is the bra but I'm not going to split hairs).

I also got a empire line dress - good tip for anyone here without hips - empire line dresses do wonders (they are tight under the bust and the rest is loose).
e.g.

I felt pretty sexy with my tight shirt unbuttoned enough for the bra to peak underneath. Hot damn! It is like a whole new side to explore.

Well I think your excited cos it feels like you. To look at yourself and look like you feel really is stunning. Regardless of the amount of difference, it's a step to you :) You shouldn't question your feeling, you should embrace it and know that it's exactly how things should have been in the beginning:) You know what I mean:)

I love your smile :)

 :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: YAY, Nicky!!

That is cool news - and you should be excited about this step, I know I would be/will be whenever I get there. I've been looking for AA bras that are padded as well. Most of what I've found are unlined and just kind of accentuate the flatness. |

Keep up the good work and the good news.  :D

I was trying to find what I got online - I got it at a "farmers" in NZ.

This is all I could find on it

I'll do some more digging later.

it is by a NZ company - the underwear club.

I seem to be on the edge in terms of band size - I'm a 14NZ (or 36 american), and that is the largest size this particular company did for the aa bra.

Hey Nicky,
Thanks for posting that link. I actually just ordered a couple of bras from AALingerie.com based in England. They have a pretty good selection of AA bras. While I am able to get away with a 36 (US), I really need a 38, which makes finding something to fit the little, pre-HRT girls rather hard. Can't wait to make the real ones.

No worries, thanks for taking an interest in the thread. I think it is an interesting topic - a lot of us transgenders that don't have much chestage seem to focus on filling a bigger bra, but it is worth exploring finding small ones that actually do fit. I think psychologically it is great, makes me feel like I have something which is entirely me and that I am not faking it, makes me feel as if I am a girl on the edge of puberty, which I am (sort of). Walk before you can run.

36 definitly seems to be one of the upper ends for AA bras. If you are an A you will have a lot more options.

(I should mention that we have a site policy to use correct terms for body parts. We are suppost to use words like breast instead of boobies. I don't like raising this as it appears mostly harmless but it is part of the job. There is good reasoning behind it to do with how this site appears externally https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,65184.0.html)

I agree that finding something the right size would have a much more positive impact and make me feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Thank you for pointing out the rule to me, I am sorry. I have violated this a few times, but I will avoid using the terms in the future. Thank you Nicky.

No problems, I do it too on occassion, Slang is just the way people speak. Also it is not the most visible policy and I think it is intended for more vulgar slang, which is often covered by the rule about offensive language.

I can't vouch for them or their quality, but this place carries larger band, and small cup sizes.
http://www.biggerbras.com

They carry up to 40AA, 44A and 54B.

I like the Maidenform girls bras, too. They are inexpensive and cute.
I have an Alantis padded t shirt bra that was $44 US but fits and looks good, 36AA
