Hello everyone,

I am Tina and I am a MtF living in Toowoomba, Queensland, I am just at the stage of accepting the truth I have always kind of known about myself. A couple of friends of mine recommended this site to me and I have come here to read about others in a similar situation to myself and hopefully get some pointers in the right direction.

I am a thirty six year old pensioner/professional student (science major) studying at USQ.
I am also a gamer and a anime fanatic. I like to play WoW and other MMOs as my games of choice.

As I have already mentioned I am new but I have managed to get a few things done like starting the laser treatments for my face. and I am looking for a reputable and friendly gender therapist to start the process of getting hormone replacement therapy.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

Welcome!  I too am new here but have spent a great deal of time reading and studying the many many forum posts and articles prior to joining. I spent many years trying to live life as someone I am not and now find myself with difficult decisions to make. I finally have the courage to face my delima and am ready to discuss this with my doctor (I have been one who has used hormones without proper supervision and care but no longer). I am sure you will find much comfort and support here as I have. I do not yet have a therapist but hope to soon as I have much to learn. If I can answer any questions for you just ask.
