I was looking for a song to fit my feelings as of late, and this one actually managed to be uplifting instead of depressing.
I'm glad that was uplifting for you!. I think I've heard that song before, I just didn't know who it was by. Then again.. reading it closer I don't think I've heard it. Ahh well. :-)
I understand about how certain music makes you feel, or how you feel when you listen to it. I used to play guitar and took lessons for 6 years. I learned everything my teacher could teach me. But now, after not playing for a long time because my dog bit one of my important guitar fingers, I had to get 3 stitches... he literally allmost tore the end of my finger off. But anyway, just saying - by my lessons and learning all I could, it made me feel more confident about myself, instead of depressed. My guitar teacher Mr. Lovins taught me how to tune a guiitar by ear, and figuring out how to play ANY song by any artist. Just follow the steps in his book and you can usually find any thing to play based on the chords and which chords go together.

Just wanted to tell you that I can relate to you... you and I are more into lyrics than the tunes, but the tunes are a huge part of the song itself.
