Today i was in the car with my mother, and she was talking about how most of "them" (meaning gays, trans) are normally clean. She also said "they" tend to dress nice?

1. Im still in school, and cant dress HOW Iwant, im transgedered not gay, if i was then maybe i would like the way i look in baggy clothes?  >:(

2nd. I feel that cleaness have nothing to do with it! Im so tired of explaining myself! (And pluss, when you have less that 5 feet of closet space, theres nothin much you can really do!!! especially if ya have no option!)   :P

I just wish she would stop stereotyping me!

Did anyone you experiance stereotypes from people that were close to you?
and how did it make you feel?

Oh an also, when taking hormones, does it make the forehead lines go away?

I don't know if this counts, but I've had a number of friends say it is a real pleasure to know me (as a transsexual) because I'm so normal.  (Gee, I was never called normal before.  ::))  I think what they mean is that they had this stereotype of TS or TG as being outlandish or obviously "other" and I've shown them that not all TS's fit into that.  :)

Just be you, dear.  And maybe then your mother will find that her stereotype doesn't fit and she will revise it or discard it.  In the meantime, don't let it get you down.  Choose your battles.
