A TRANSSEXUAL burglar who stole make-up and women's clothes has been spared jail after a judge took pity on her.

Hard-up Thea Cox, 54, who was born Timothy, broke into student accommodation six times to steal clothing and toiletries.

Thea, who changed her name after a £12,000 sex change, burgled the homes while residents slept.
