Howdy everyone.

A bit about myself....I'm about to turn 34 next wednsday and I've finally come out about who I am to almost everyone. It's been about 2 years since I came out to my hubby and we both at that time admitted we were gay...

I was born female...or so they say but it's not me at all. I've always been very male acting and even walk like a guy. I've been this way since I was a toddler. My mom admitted to me when I came out to her as a gay Transmale that all my life she assumed I was a butch lesbian. I changed my name legally when I was 15 (PrairieWolf to honor some Native heritage) tho it's not changed on my birth cert yet.

I'm pre-op and pre T but not by choice. I do not have medical insurance and the only therapy I've had was in the hospital PCU when I tried to commit suicide Oct '08. My doctor is working on keeping me stable enough so he can help me deal with the Transgender issue. He told me he can't help me if I am dead.

That is kinda me in a short nutshell. I met my 1st other F2M and intersex persons at a convention recently and it's the only time I haven't felt so alone!

Welcome to Susan's Place, brother. We have a great group of FTMs here. Some even come to hang out in our Chat rooms.  ALTHOUGH WE COULD USE MORE THERE, GUYS.

Oh, pardon me, did I just shout?

Robyn, whose husband is FTM

Thank you and yeah I have been to the chat room FTM twice but so far most are afk and never talk and seems like it's mostly M2F's .  It's like no matter where I go I feel really isolated.

Welcome Kurzar! Always nice to see another FTM as it can get quiet around here every so often. I see you're a furry. I used to dabble around in that fandom but found it was never for me... but at any rate, I don't mind them.

Don't be scared to fly alone, find a path that is your own
Love will open every door it's in your hands, the world is yours
Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold
What are you waiting for, spread your wings and soar

Welcome Kurzar! Are you still with your hubby? Is he supportive?
There are lots of FTM's around and thanks to the internet no one needs to feel completely isolated.

Yeah still with him (8yrs as of halloween) and 2yrs ago he came out to me as being gay so it all works out. He's 110% supportive and he and I share a BF (cismale) who is also gay and 110% supportive of me.

If only that were true!  My sex drive is thru the roof (pre-T) but my hubby is low testosterone + meds that pretty much killed his sex drive. Our BF has a sex drive but his meds make it so a lot of times the equipment don't co-operate. Thus I'm left with blueballs >.<
