NDelible Gurl

Hi ladies! I'm new here and am glad I stumbled upon this forum. I've been in transition for what seems like a long time! I don't know about setting a year for full-transition but money problems and other little curve balls life throws at you slow the process down.

I'm presently in school and it's taken me awhile to get the nerve to figure out what I want and how to do it. School is one of the stepping stones that should help me achieve VJay Day :D

I've always known I had a female heart. I'm kind of a tomboy but still...I don't relate to man things and just feel feminine inside. I can recall feminine feelings from way back when... as young as kindergarten age. It just makes sense to me now. I see old pictures of me with long hair...I unknowingly walked out of a store w/ a pink teddy bear when I was three.

The concept of capitalism and all the economics didn't come into the picture at that age. I must have loved pink for a reason eh :D

Anyhoo. I hope to read some good information here and love to see the strength and wisdom in the girls who have paved their own paths down the road. Have a lovely night ladies!

Hello NDelible Gurl,

Welcome to Susan's.  I hope you find many friends and much useful information here.  Just a question, certainly not a criticism; why do so many of us spell Girl as "Gurl" or "Grrl"?  It's just a dumb question, but whether you're Gurl, Grrl or Girl, welcome.
