I saw Vintners Luck last night. I had read all these revolting reviews about how they cut out the essential story that was the book, which was mainly a homosexual love story. The author cried about the movie as they almost always do. I have not read the book so I can't compare, but I loved the movie. I thought is was great!
It was a tale of love, wine and angels (as the tag line suggests). Some of the filming was a little odd: extreme closeups, shaky camera, some out of focus lense work (to partly disguise the budget effects). But I liked it. Made it feel more intimate to me.
Kiesha was pretty hot. I almost gave a cheer to see her naked, but that would have been rude in the theatre. I think it was worth seeing just for her (national pride and all that). The angel was pretty hot too.
