January 4, 2010, I consult with Dr. Bowers in Colorado about genital reconstruction surgery. I'm incredibly excited. My family and I have done our research and this may be it. When I eventually undergo this surgery, my family will be there for me afterward, since they're going with me. I can't believe it sometimes, this is amazing. My life's changed so much (for the better) since I started transitioning and I'm extremely lucky to have such good family and friends who love and support me.

... Well, I just wanted to share it with you guys because I am incredibly excited right now! As much as I'll be anxious when the surgery comes closer. I've never had any kind of surgery before.

concrats i am from colorado trinadad is beautiful be sure to visit around town when you get the chance and feel up to it. The people there are very transgender friendly as it is a relativly small town and Dr. Bowers is well known there

All the very best to you Sarah.   You like myself, many moons ago for me, had my familly onside and Mum travelled interstate to be with me post-op.   Oceans apart from you, Australia here.

We thought we might have to reschedule our consultation because of weather in Colorado (we were going to drive), but now my mom and I have decided we'll take a train. So it's still happening on Jan. 4. Thank you everyone for the well wishes, this means a lot and I'm too excited to put it in words.
