They're elegant, poised, polished to perfection and can master pirouettes and arabesques – they just happen to be men.

Meet Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, or The Trocks for short. They're here in Sydney from November 10 performing at Theatre Royal.

New York's all-male ballet company was formed in 1974 by a group of ballet enthusiasts who wanted to explore the more playful, entertaining side of classical ballet. Gender reversal with men in tights turning the traditional ballet canon on its head is certain sure-fire way to get this done.
