I was just wondering what everybody was planning on being for halloween.  I let you know later what I'm planning on being.

I will be just plain me.

Halloween is for children, a day for them to pretend and have fun.

John Wayne Gacy. Complete with clown costume.
Frightening enough for you? :D

Nah, I'm joking. I don't go trick or treating anymore. I buy my own candy now. :D

Well, I have a halloween party on the 28th that I was invited to (actually I was invited to several, but wanted to go to this one the most).  So, I decided to choose a costume and decided upon being a fairy.  I've always wanted to experience halloween as a female and since my childhood didn't allow me to be any of the costumes I really wanted to be, I am going to have fun now that I can.
Here's a picture of the costume I am going to get:

I'll see what I can do, but it may be difficult to take a decent picture or me unless I can get somebody else to do it.  Maybe I'll ask somebody at the party to use my phone to take a pic.

Halloween is just another day for me....my plans include a scary movie and some popcorn.

Maybe I'll wear black panties just to be festive.

I love Halloween...  My birthday is the 23rd so it's always been a costume party anyway.  But I'm broke and trapped in the house so I don't know if I'm doing anything this year :(

I still don't know what I am going to do with my hair, but I shall see.
Perhaps a basball cap?

Just don't try too hard. ;)

Hi All,

Melissa - What a wonderful choice for a costume! I believe you'll be totally beautiful!   :)

Brandi - I love the black panties idea!   ;)

Tinkerbell - That's one of the most original and best ideas for a costume I've heard. I love it!   8)

As far as I myself go, I'm just going to spend the evening in my favorite nighty watching a good movie and just generally take it easy.

*hugs*

Great topic Melissa...I love the costume...Please please please get pictures (even if you don't want to share them).

Brandi...classic...a girl can't go wrong with basic black

Tinkerbell is the one I am worried about...don't tell me you are going to start cross-dressing...my poor little heart may not be able to take it   ;D  As far as your hair...don't worry about it...the worse it looks, the more "manly"...if guys really cared, why do they only get haircuts every 3-6 months??

Mikko, pick up a couple of candy bars and you and your boyfriend come up with your own version of "trick or treat"   >:D

Provided I'm not stuck working (always a big if), I will probably do what Genevieve is gonna do...put on a nighty, watch a good movie and, in keeping with the season, paint my toenails orange.  Probably will steal Brandi's idea too...like I said, a girl can't go wrong with basic black.

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

cool!  I have not been to a party in years!  In the service years back me and some buddy's had girls do us up for a big costume party near Nashville, I secretly LOVED it although they had a horrible time!  We were over done and definately were not passing rather just army guys half made into ugly women to get into a big hotel's costume party that year!
I have not been to one in a while, 6 years last one I dressed up as Mel Gibson and was the "highlander" from his movie!  I painted face blue and black and had a cap on and a skirt which was plaid close enough for a kilt ( I remember the female employees at the work place had fun with this they all wanted to know what i was wearing under my skirt!-TDuuum BOXERS!-now you all know!), big leather belt, girls knee high socks blue checked or patterened, i still have them, boots a fake sword and knife, a scarf done about me for the things whatever it is they call it?  the family colors, i looked good i may have a pic somewhere but i gotta try posting again?  Firefox gives me issues pasting even underlining when i edit a message?  any help with that?
This year? Hmmm It's on a sunday i will pass out treats i guess, yuck  to the neighborhood kids then we play tennis in the afternoon! Diehards do not quit until it snows! Yaho then there is skiing i live 18 miles from two resorts! YaHooooooooooo
anyone need ski clothes?  you can dress up as a skier!
I sort of wish i was going to a dress up party now that someone posted this?  My rural area is a little non-progressive in the city things are much faster and funner!
If i was going hmmm let me see choice number one would be a lifesized bottle of vodka if that is possible!  Could not be a see through bottle huh-hum! hehe
I lijke the idea of buddying up like being one of those two person costumes a horse course I would not want to be the back end, hehe...
siameze twins (sp?)
what do they call the half guy half girl costume?  that would be cool a little too in the face though huh?
Cool!  I hit the lottery for 40.00! TaDah my B-day is today big 38 maybe that's my presents from my angels!

Halloween?

Ahhh yeah... some cute North American custom, involving the mass slaughter of Pumpkins and a time for kids to dress up and scare old people.

Nice costume, Melissa, you'll be the darling of the party!

Brandi, an orange bra with the black panties will get you into the holiday colors!  Alternate orange and black nails will complement the look!

Tink!  That is so delightfully perverse!!  You MUST show us a piccy or two!

Cindi, I am a couch potato for much of the year as it is - It wouldn't be any fun for me to do it on Halloween.

Ricki, just DO it!

Buffy, Kids in the UK do it too, just a different day.  Guy Fawkes day, isn't it?

Me?  Ohh, well .. .. .. I'll just be "myself" ! !  >:D

Hugs & Smiles,
helen

I've had V for Vendetta pretty much on repeat for the past few days. Dressing up as Guy Fawkes would rule. :)

As for me, I'd really like to totally drag up for Halloween. At work. ;D Lord knows pulling that off for 8 hours would be a bit much, but god would I love to scare the squares. LOL

Geeeeeeeeeeeeze I have a hard enough time making up my mind what to wear on a regular day let alone a costum :)  I don't usually do anything special.  Hmmmmmmmmm but curled up on the couch with chips and a scary movie sounds inviting.  Move over Cindi.
