Today — Sunday, November 15 — marks the start of Transgender Awareness Week, which will culminate on Friday, November 20, with the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, held every year on November 20. Some organizations may arrange remembrance memorial events on different days this week, so check with your local organization to find out when memorials will be held in your area. You can also find various scheduled memorial events on the International Transgender Day of Remembrance Web project.
