Absolutely Adrianna.  If I purchase a new outfit, blouse, skirt or some makeup, I'll go home and dress up, even if I'm not going out.  I agree with you that it is a drag removing your makeup if you're not going out. 🙂

Yes.  Unfortunately lately, due to the temporary return home of my son, who is not clued in to the real me, I rarely do.  I just refuse to sneak around.  I've learned it is not about the clothes - it's about me, even if certain clothes are me. 

    Gotta agree! But then again whadda think school is for, every Mon thru Fri from 8 to 3? I hear a lot of women LOVE to do housework barely clothed, naked if so inclined; if it's good enough for them then why not me too?

I find that if I put on a dress, do my hair and at least put lipstick on, I get more household chores done

I also like to do a thing I call "Fashion Show" to go through various items to decide what's workable or not. Heaven forbid someone should take interest and ask me out on a date 

Even if I am all dressed up and no-where to go, I like to see Virginia in the mirror rather than my evil twin

This especially helps when the anxiety and depression hit and I feel like no-one loves me
