Students were welcomed to the jungle at Pride's seventh-annual Diva Drag Show Monday, where six professional drag queens and a king showed off wigs, skin and leopard prints.

Kirstin Bowns, vice president of EIU Pride and event organizer, stalled the audience during a 30-minute delay before the show, which nearly sold out.

She took to the stage along with Nick Niemerg, a junior business major clad in high heels and a tux, to keep the crowd entertained while the divas prepared to make an entrance.
