QuoteWASHINGTON – They call it the "Botax." The White House and Senate Democrats have turned to a proposal to tax breast implants, tummy tucks, wrinkle-smoothing injections and other procedures as they search for ways to pay for costly health care overhaul plans.

Laser hair removal and electrolysis not specifically mentioned, but it would not surprise me to see them affected since most places that offer Botox and other enhancements do laser and/or electro and they are considered, for most, to be cosmetic. Breast implants and plastic surgery clearly would be. Taxing transsexuals more to pay for healthcare benefits they may not receive would be fantastic. My question is, if insurance companies consider SRS cosmetic, would it be taxed as well?
