Robin.

My legs always get itchy after i shave, and I usually shave in the shower before I go to bed, and of course itchy legs make it hard to sleep. is there something for that, some lotion or something?

Moisturizing shave creme, moisturize afterward.  If it is really itchy, use apple cider vinegar.  Yes it works and the smell goes away fairly quickly.

"Apple Cider Vinegar"?  Are you serious?  Does that not dry one's skin out?

It can, but it does stop the itching and if you mix it 50/50 with green tea it makes a good toner.  Use the toner and then moisturizer.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind for when I start taking hormones a week from now.  I'm guessing that my skin will get more sensitive in the next month or two, but right now, I just shave my legs and moisturize, and I never even thought about them itching.... :o

Dang it, I hope the "power of suggestion" doesn't start making my legs itch! he he

Any basic moisturizing lotion is fine, something with Aloe Vera would be better, better still, if you live where I do - or just about anywhere out West - just go out and pick some Aloe cactus and use the fresh stuff.

If it was good enough for Nicodemus to give to Jesus to use, then it ought to be good enough for anyone.*

Well, not with the Aloe, that was for the dead body.  But you never know, every picture I see of the guy his hair looks straight out of a Prell Shampoo ad.

LOL  I hadn't thought about it that way, but I guess if she could walk on water she could keep hair clean....

I've heard about razor bumps, but never itching. I would look into Calamine lotion as a tried & true. Moisterizing has many worthy options.

Just use a moisturizer after!!!  If you keep ahead of the curve, you'll find that there's less irritation and it only takes 5 minutes in the shower!
