Name change requirement?

My parents named me Morgan from birth, apparently a unisex name, although I've only met guys here with it! So I'm not worried about that for now at least.

However I swear I've seen some legal or surgical stuff that apparently can only happen a certain number of months "after legal name change".. o:
I tried to look into it again, but I can't remember which process it was. :x
Anyone heard of a name change requirement for anything?

Yes, CAMH in Ontario requires that you change your name. I think it's pretty stupid because of unisex names.

Depends on where you are.  In the States, most only require that it isn't for fraud.

Ahh, yes I think it was a similar website that I saw it.
I'm in the UK, though I may end up abroad for surgery..

Am I right in thinking it won't affect me then? o:
If I get a name change, I don't want it to be for bureaucratic purposes only!
